Conversations over tea have always been a meditative and expressive outlet for us. PaanchCup Chai was created as an extension of it - a virtual canvas to express hobbies and values that we share with our mothers. We're a bunch of intergenerational sisters designing and crafting objects we love!
Paanch Cup Chai is a venture started along with my sister to capitalise on the hobbies of our mothers and masis(aunts). Designing and handcrafting exclusive fashion accessories (mostly potli bags), we also offer customisations and festive gifting assortments.
For the logo, we wanted to express our ‘one of a kind’ and ‘made by hand’ ethos. The curvilinear hand-drawn icon in varying line weights represents just that. Surrounded by the tea stain and a non-linear type, the logo embodies our off-beat spirit.
Our packaging is minimal and elegant. White slider boxes with embossing and envelope-style packets for scarves.

Through my styling and photoshoots, I wanted to show that these traditional potli bags can also be styled and carried with Western outfits.
